Where this book excels is with the introduction of new HTML tags and CSS rules with useful information about browser support and techniques that allow older browsers to benefit from the features of newer language code. With frameworks and some of CSS tweaks you can create exceptionally looking static website or template, don’t see the point in reading long books about it as everything can be learnt when need arises. I took a refresher course recently, and this was the required text.

The explanations of concepts are fantastic! This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. Covers a lot of ground but does it without overwhelming. On its pages student will be taught about basics of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery but also there can be found some additional information about graphics and their implementation in web design process.

This is a great reference! It has been a few years actually since I read it but I can say that it is really good, at least for the audience it is meant for. Evolution of web design is anyone’s guess, but with this book every beginner in web design will get a good foundation what can be done with technology these days. And this is book of Clear writing and examples. The book doesn’t have major flaws, for some readers maybe additional information could be given about integration of social media into websites and more information about jQuery would be welcome, but niedsrst my opinion for those interested there are many books on the market few of them I already reviewed – JavaScript: May 08, CT Ray rated deaign it was amazing.
