Press Release – Jinggoy: Congress to attune kasambahay bill with ILO convention

The two chambers of Congress are set to meet on Monday to reconcile the disagreeing provisions of the Kasambahay Bills. The bicameral conference committee meeting is scheduled on October 8 and 9.

The Senate version, embodied under Senate Bill 78 which was passed as early as Decemberseeks to amend the relevant articles of the Labor Code and provide additional benefits and protection to the househelpers.
