They don’t fit anywhere, and they barely fit as zombies. Especially since the Mayor hates all paranorms and is just itching to get rid of them all.

Good thing I’ve got the next book on my bookshelf already. Everyone I know knows I hate love triangles and this seems to clear that up pretty fast. How can she possibly beat staving back hell itself from breaking into our mortal coil?


Also, the romance area fell even more flat than the previous installment. I enjoyed the first part of this novel especially when the Glitch slims the idiot professor at MIT. There are so many of these similar heroines for a reason – they kick ass, entertain and enthrall all in one fell swoop. Vicky also seems really lonely this book, she isn’t having a good time. In Hellforged, the action picks up again in Boston, where Vicky is continuing to ply her extermination trade while dealing with the repercussions of binding herself to the demon who killed her father.

The good news is that the series will end with. However, I kept turning pages because there was so much going on that I wanted to see what would happen. The concept for this world is a lot of fun, too. About paulaweston I’m a writer.
