Want to Read saving…. Also, he was mean. And surrounded by criminals. It was confusing at times because there was such a long list of people who were actually involved in the events of Watergate. The book ends with brief aftermath of the Watergate Scandal. I would not recomend this book only because of the level of dificulty. That’s why he’s the funnest President to read about.

Nearly 20 years old, but still the best account of the Watergate scandal. There it was and it was all true well, except what Nixon said. This is probably the enery one volume history of Watergate.
This then led to the Watergate break in and subsequent cover-up. And I did The emry thing is it could’ve been 2 or 3 times longer. Must redeem within 90 days. I’d read a ton of Watergate stuff over the years, but never really felt I had the whole story straight in my head, from beginning to end, until now.
There are much more interesting discussions of the Watergate saga out there.

Defiintely love the character of Alice; her careful insults are so expected by the end though her friendship with Nixon is just as carefully played.
