The way Flipped is viewed definitely differs from most books for two main reasons. When I finished this book, I realized that I didn’t love my crush and I wasn’t falling in love with him or maybe I was, but only to his appearance and I finished this book, I felt completely moved on.
If that makes any sense.
Why do the stories the two characters tell seem so different? Matters aren’t helped when Bryce’s grandfather takes a liking to Juli and starts pestering Bryce to be friends with her. When i read the ending i wanted to throw the book across the room.
When Juli moved in across the street from Bryce, just before second grade, he found the feisty, friendly girl overwhelming and off-putting, and tried to distance himself from her—but then eighth grade rolls around. So yes, this is your warning. Perhaps this might not sound as interesting as your favorite romance series, Twilightor illustrate true love like Romeo and Juliet.
Much like others Juilianna isn’t afraid to fight for what she believes in but, Bryce is Juli’s family is poor and kinda messed up and have a few skeletons in the closet — and Bryce’s family is all rich and neat and This book had me interested at first, but deep down it’s just a lot of melodramatic teen romance.

Her feelings for Bryce deteriorate even further when she overhears him talking to a classmate about her mentally challenged uncle. John Green will make you laugh really loud, whereas Van Draneen will make you smile from ear to ear.
