Caught up in a family melodrama and completely out of his depth, Drew has no idea that Claire offers the means of his salvation, her insouciant approach to life a balm to elziabethtown increasingly troubled spirit.

Suddenly the laughingstock of the industry, dumped by his boss and his girl, things can’t seem to get worse–until Drew gets word of his father’s death. If you loved the movie and want to experience the story again in a elizqbethtown form, go ahead and do so but I don’t promise you will like it.

The movie ended up almost exactly screenplayy way I imagined it when it first arrived as an idea. Maybe you have to fall in love with a stranger when you don’t expect it.
