She is a comfort read for me. Krentz publishes, but I think it’s simply a matter of she’s written so much and I’ve read them allthat I have trouble differentiating her characters and her plots from her earlier ones.

I hope Krentz moves away soon from her obsession with para-normal crystals that are coper too deus ex machina in nature. I was intrigued by the puzzling elements, but the romantic aspects added a lighter note to the story. Both of the main characters are loveable. At first I was excited that finally one of beafh novels didn’t have the instantaneous, sizzling mutual attraction between the two main characters, but no, that did not last or make the hero or heroine at all three-dimensional.

Some just want to get rich off the possibilities. Tanya Eby is an excellent narrator. This paranormal romance series includes Jayne’s trademark crystals, auras, and psychic energies, similar to her Arcane and Vanza lore, but it’s thankfully!!!

This author used to be one of my old favourites, but I honestly have not enjoyed any of her books in years. Plus, the author lost points because of the lengthy info dumping scene, towards the end. There was a doggie character, though. Even the action limps along half-heartedly. After a deadly incident in the private library of an obsessive collector, Abby receives a blackmail threat, and rumours swirl that an old alchemical text known as The Key has reappeared on the black market.

And I like me some romantic fiction and some Amanda Quick one of the alternate pen name of this author. She is thrust into danger when the laboratory notebook regarding powerful gems is up for auction. The romance is nice – Sam and Abby are both quite likable, and their attraction and emotional connections develop at a good, realistic pace, as do the love scenes.

Before she began writing full time she worked as a librarian in both academic and corporate libraries.
