I’d say that at least one tenth of this book’s word count is completely meaningless technical jargon trying to explain away the workings of magic, if not more.

Using this knowledge Richard reasons that the Book of Counted Shadows could not be the key to the boxes of Orden, and that the Sword of Truth was the only way to harness Orden’s power. There is more to it, but no time, gotta trot. Does this not strike the reader as contrary?

I’ll trade you Goodkind for confeszor. Blood of the Fold. The story, as expected, centers around the life of Magda Searus in the months leading up the the creation of the first confessor. Instead we get a tale about dream walkers who are boring.

For reasons unknown, the Confessors’ magic manifested itself differently within the male offspring of the original Confessors than in the females. It seems that self-publishers will be shown no ounce of mercy, but can that be used to their advantage?

Because they hold on by belief, as it is told in the book too. Richard traveling to teh Underworld to retrieve all of the lost memories, getting attacked by the beast, and popping out back with the Mud People, then rushing off to Tammarang to get the book, find Kahlan, liberate a dragon, and fly back to the People’s palace. What an amazing ending to the whole entire series. And, I don’t think he even succeeds in making the case for objectivism, as it is only in the context of a world-threatening evil empire, devoid of any redeeming qualities, that his point can be made.

This series has helped me so much in life; it taught me how to live, and gave me the motivation to live my own life. The story of this book is good, and the characters are enjoyable. I loved this series. Sword of Truth 11Das Schwert der Wahrheit It was made to be such a big deal, but really, beyond ferreting out spies, what good is it?

Magda, on the bridge, greeted Sadlar “good morning”, but later had to hurry off before it got “too dark”. There are a lot more men that shallow, but gooskind another story. Their magic prevents them from cutting their hair themselves, causing them extreme pain if they try, although every Confessor eventually attempts to do so.

As Richard goes to close the doorway, he fears Kahlan confssor lost because the clean slate required for Orden was tainted. It actually feels as though it was written by a different person.
