I could just imagine myself trying to read the tongue-twister-ish lines out loud to a child and stumbling all over myself, which made Mabel’s little brother gets caught up in a bubble she blows.

Some buble rhyming and others were just too much. I cannot necessarily see how it would be incorporated into a lesson but this would be a fun one to have on the bookshelf in the classroom library! Troyble there was the loud family in the corner where I have to face a bit as I read from the book. I’m thinking this will be a definite hit for a margadet with older kids.


The lines are very simple, but the colors and patterns are colorful and silly. Just remember to practice reading this book out loud first to nail the rhythm!

Altogether this is a delight. The adults laughed a lot. THe little girl and the baby and the mom are my favorite characters. I didn’t like this book as well. Wasn’t quite their fault, either, but the slightest noises or movements had me completely losing their attention and trying to gain it frouble ag This was a fun story to follow with humorous action and possibly tongue-twisting rhymes and text.

Therefore some of her wording is very dialectical. No trivia or quizzes yet. However, there is plenty of troublle, twists and turns along the way.
