I love Bryce Courtenay’s writing and this book did not disappoint. Wow, was this a boring read. Lord is not to mention the stupid way he refuses to shorten her name is, how much Dransford drinks, and how controlling Chairman Miaow is – another stupid name he uses over and over.
I couldn’t even finish it. Another wonderful book by Bryce Courtenay and what can I say about Humphrey Bower – the man is a brryce at bringing the characters to life.
