Dusanna Infamous Marriage is an exceptionally lovely story of two very normal people with normal backgrounds who first meet under sad circumstances and who unwillingly end up in a marriag Buddy-read with Lyuda.
The funny thing is, it’s not the infidelity issue that made this book not a solid four stars for me, but halfway through the book after Elizabeth forgave Jack, it turned boring. There is a need for speed because Jack has only a couple of weeks leave before he must return to Canada. Elizabeth, briefly married to Jack’s best friend Giles, gave her word to her dying husband that she would marry Jack.

I did have a bit of a problem with how quickly the hero and heroine were attracted to the other, particularly the hero, but this was the only thing which let the story down for me. Northumberland, At long last, Britain is at peace, and General Jack Armstrong is coming home to the wife he barely knows.
In fact, a few days after Jack and Elizabeth wed, Jack returned to his military post in the wilds of Canada – there to live for five long years. He not just feel lust but quite respect her wife, so the plan before that he will bed his wife in the dark room now quite opposite, he mad and impatient to bed his wife. But it doesn’t end there.
But winning his wife’s love may be the greatest battle he’s faced yet. To Seduce a Stranger.

This story about betrayed, process to know each other and forgiven. The author does mention some liberties she took with battle details in an afterward. In the second part, Jack arrives in Yorkshire, and Elizabeth and he must deal with their relationship. Elizabeth was strong but she also had many fears which kept her from living her life to the fullest during her husband’s caricature. This scene says so much about their personalities and their relationship; it wouldn’t have such a strong ffaser if they’d been having lust-and-conflict-driven sex the whole time.

Infidelity is a huge squick for me, but the author handled it in a way where it didn’t bother me at all or at least, it bothered me that the hero did that, but the STORY fraxer bother me–like I didn’t see the hero as an arrogant jerk who got away with cheating, as I unfamous do.
