The innovative structure of this novel gives us a narrator who is an avid movie-goer and tells us of the films he saw during his formative years and how they related to what was going on in his life at that time.

As it turns out, this is not the case at all. But the intrigue is quickly dissipates, and the story loss any mom I stumbled across The Movies of My Life on the way out of the fiction section of my library.
The rest of you can safely avoid it. There are no obvious ovations made to the reader, the ending is neither epic nor moral.
