I Loved a Rogue. The names of the characters feel unconvincing for the time – Ivy and Garrett – and the notorioux dialogue is peppered with modern-day Americanisms inappropriate for the time and location in which the book is set.

Book review: Adele Ashworth’s *A Notorious Proposition*
This was a complicated read. Elisha Karr rated it really liked it Oct 26, I enjoy reading Adele Ashworth’s novels because her characters and story lines are more complex than typical romance novels while staying true to the time period. Not very well written, either. The mystery seems well planed out–albeit a bit too complicated for me to ashwprth it out–but the ending seems to have been wrapped up hastily and clumsily. I got very tired of them the characters rehashing the past.
